Legal Counsel (Leased Labor Contract)

The European Research Center, the Munich subsidiary of Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, is mainly responsible for advanced technical research, architecture evolution design and strategic technical planning.


Legal Counsel (Leased Labor Contract)


Job location: Munich, Germany


Main Responsibilities:
Providing legal advice to our business units in daily work on a variety of matters in areas as civil and contract law, IPR law, IT & telecom law, company law and labor law
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various commercial agreements, in particular bilateral R&D agreements, Horizon2020 Consortium Agreements, NDAs / MoU/ LoI, procurement contracts
Support our HR Department with respect to individual labor law issues
Support legal revision and negotiation of RfQs and contract s in IT-Hardware/Software Supply-, Service-, Maintenance and Outsourcing-Projects with a major German Telco Operator.
Helping to ensure the legal compliance of the company’s activities
Legal transaction support to other European Huawei Companies might be required


Requirements:
Fully qualified lawyer (2. Legal State-Examination or equivalent)
First professional experience as Legal Counsel in a national/international company or as a lawyer in a law firm is surplus
Experience in the R&D and/or IT- and telecommunications industry is a surplus.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (legal English) and German;
Fluent in Chinese, French, Spanish and/or Italian is a plus but not prerequisite
Excellent drafting, analytic and negotiation skills with a strong commercial sense and flexible hands-on approach
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and positive attitude
Keen to be challenged in a fast-paced, commercial environment with multinational staff
