Huawei’s European Research Centre in Munich (Germany) is responsible for advanced technical research, architecture evolution design and strategic technical planning. The European IT Team focuses on delivering, supporting and operating IT infrastructure and systems. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated:

IT Engineer (m/f)

Your responsibilities:

• Support in IT infrastructure construction, maintenance and troubleshooting, including server room, network, servers, applications, client and office equipment etc;
• Preparation of corporate standard OS/Software and security settings before distribution to end users;
• User training on IT Platforms/Application/Services;
• Collecting and analyzing functional requirements for business applications and translating these to viable technical requirements;
• Ensuring customer satisfaction with the assigned IT products in the business area.
  
  
  

Our Requirements:

• B.A. in Information Technology or related subject;
• 2+ years’ experience in IT Engineering or Support;
• Experienced in configuration and maintenance of laptops /desktops, OS, office software, network troubleshooting and maintenance;
• Fluency in English and German (written and spoken);
• Team spirit, openness for an international environment and Chinese business culture;
• Well-organized and structured working style.
  
  

Nice to have:

• CCNA, CCNP or ITIL certification;
• Basic programming and scripting skills;
• Knowledge of security practices;
• Experience with network monitoring.
