. D: k6 n* {' j3 l想请教坛子里的去过英国的兄弟姐妹，我7月份去英国开会，之后想在英国玩几天，该办visitor签证还是business签证？而且我看到申请网页上说：% j8 B9 X. o6 a1 m3 `& K

* M" g3 N8 ?- J2 k. c1 m; u; eIf you have temporary permission to stay (for example, as a visitor) in the country where you are currently living, you cannot apply for most types of UK visa in that country. You can only apply for:
3 Q, B% H, b) Q- j/ ^+ z
1 g3 R: D# v4 r0 I: M    a visitor visa
! i: S, i3 c  @# ~( W" V    a Tier 5 (Temporary worker - creative and sporting) visa8 ]2 q: f8 e2 p
    an EEA family permit5 y, J4 f8 U! h0 _3 ]9 J9 |

我是学生，持中国护照，没有入籍也没有长居，那是不是我只能申请visitor签证？但是好像visitor签证的话又不允许你在英国参加会议啥的。。。那我到底该申请什么签证啊？急盼回复！

不用着急 其实两个都可以

If you have temporary permission to stay (for example, as a visitor) 这是说如果你是游客访客就不行了 凡是拿到resident permit的都算长期居留许可! F! X1 q; G. k9 H7 j6 d* ~

既然开会 就办business吧# D$ |3 @0 y! V3 {+ ~* w
9 Z; a  g) T4 i" {
英国签证最少有效期半年 而且多次入境 你现在申请 3月底就能出来估计 奥运都能去看了 呵呵
