Key Responsibilities:Prepare annual financial statements of China Telecom subsidiary in Germany and responsible for the external audit of financial statementsResponsible for the daily accounting and financial management, including journal review and booking, VAT reconciliation, and support to local staffProvide financial data and support to local tax advisor for preparation of annual accounts and monthly VAT returnAudit and reasonable control of costs and expenses, investigate revenue-cost (operation) mismatch, and liaise with associated departments to resolve discrepancyOverview AR and work closely with Credit Controller to ensure timely recovery of accounts receivableManagement of two Branches including annual accounts, quarterly VAT returns and othersMonth end accounting tasksCoordinate with internal auditors and provide required information in a timely mannerAssist with IT developments to facilitate process automation and maintenance of the accounting systemsAd-hoc tasks required by management
Requirements:Fluent in Mandarin and German; adequate in EnglishTertiary qualification5 years post graduate working experienceQualified accountant, CPA or equivalentHighly IT literateSAP experience is preferred but not essential
