Asus announced according to Heise (German) today the launch date for the Asus Eee PC in Germany. German fans of the low-cost Linux notebook still have to wait until December and fork over 299 Euro for the Asus Eee 4G.

& y- I) i+ } JWith this late launch date it is very unlikely that the Asus Eee 8G is still coming in 2007 in Germany.1 U% a& C1 n: z# W( N
The Asus Eee is sold for $399.99 in the United States.
