去英国开会+旅游该申请何种签证？

想请教坛子里的去过英国的兄弟姐妹，我7月份去英国开会，之后想在英国玩几天，该办visitor签证还是business签证？而且我看到申请网页上说：

5 U+ M: E  b5 V9 C, R% D, _If you have temporary permission to stay (for example, as a visitor) in the country where you are currently living, you cannot apply for most types of UK visa in that country. You can only apply for:

3 U/ L7 @/ z) C* Z* F: Q% q, Q    a visitor visa
: f$ R) T% h: o: o) {    a Tier 5 (Temporary worker - creative and sporting) visa
6 ^6 i3 z9 O- A# j7 u    an EEA family permit

我是学生，持中国护照，没有入籍也没有长居，那是不是我只能申请visitor签证？但是好像visitor签证的话又不允许你在英国参加会议啥的。。。那我到底该申请什么签证啊？急盼回复！

不用着急 其实两个都可以
: j, V1 q, x/ a而且你在德国也不是临时许可
' s# E( N* G! _4 h1 D2 f2 G/ n$ mIf you have temporary permission to stay (for example, as a visitor) 这是说如果你是游客访客就不行了 凡是拿到resident permit的都算长期居留许可

- @8 {' ^, H8 G* `! T, q) {既然开会 就办business吧

5 f: b6 O, G/ j# v; Z英国签证最少有效期半年 而且多次入境 你现在申请 3月底就能出来估计 奥运都能去看了 呵呵
